In 2005, legendary Australian singer-songwriter John Schumann, with his long-time mate, legendary adman David Minear, collaborated on an album called ‘Lawson’ - a collection of Henry Lawson poems set to music by John Schumann. The original album featured other legendary Australian musicians including Russell Morris, Rob Hirst, Shane Howard and Mike Rudd, among others. This performance at the Gov celebrates the re-release of ‘Lawson’ after 15 years.

John Schumann and the Vagabond Crew will perform the album, track by track. The performance will be narrated by ABC broadcaster/journalist, David Bevan. The narrative has been written by Professor Brian Matthews, the foremost international expert on the life and work of Henry Lawson.

This is a different and very special musical performance.
Show starts at 8pm.

18+ Event, Under 18's admitted with Parent or Legal Guardian.
