From the smoke hazed gigs such as Lennies, The Findon, The Venue, The Bay Disco, Whispers and The Waymouth Tavern where sticky carpet and political incorrectness were a stable part of the gigging landscape in the 80s and 90s, Big Squid were born (also from the original band The Squids). After playing a plethora of shows during this time, and a couple of different singers, the band gained a reputation as an entertaining and fun-filled night for audiences throughout SA. Playing a number of high profile shows and always providing good value for the paying audience, they built a solid and loyal group of follows - many who still come to see them today!  Playing a lockout in 2019 at the Gov, their loyal fans demanded a larger and more sophisticated room for their annual reunion gig. With the opportunity to see old friends, drink, to laugh, to drink, talk about old times and remember how good looking we used to be, to drink, re-live old memories and remember our very dear friend Geoff, and perhaps even listen to some great music with a different twist, a night with Big Squid is always a good one.   It’s a pity it’s only once a year!

• Reduced capacity
• Sanitiser will be supplied, wash your hands
• No dancing
