Spectrum Rock is a gathering of bands that span the broad spectrum of rock music. From funk and psychedelic rock to classic rock and blues to hard rock and even progressive metal. Featuring the likes of Smoke No Fire, Double Driven, Thoma and The Humbugs and Psithur.
Smoke No Fire are a two piece packing one hell of a punch. Locally grown in the Adelaide hills this dynamic duo tear up the stage with their raucous rhythms and hectic harmonies. Spanning the musical spectrum from funky psych to bluesy rock with riffs for days.
From up and down the Stuart Highway - Double Driven sounds like alt pub rock, grunge and Oi! with punk lyrical stabs at raw personal and social issues. The 3 piece are a dark wave of double driven rock with bits of bouncy fun.
Thoma and the humbugs are an eclectic fusion band, with a blend of smooth saxophone grooves and some bluesy synth moves. There’s nothing to lose when seeing this band, other than your mind!
Psithur is a 5 piece garage band that blurs the line between hard rock and progressive metal. With inspirations such as Audioslave, Rage Against The Machine, Velvet Revolver and Tool; they sound like Chris Cornell and Maynard James Keenan had a baby.
