After a year and a half of playing shows around Adelaide and writing caffeine-filled energy songs in a North-Eastern bedroom, Mersey Sports Club are releasing their debut EP in January 2021, ‘Suburbia’ recorded at Electric Ant Studio with Patrick Lockwood.
Including the release of their single ‘Heroin’ with Phoebe Surman, the EP consists of songs about joyful times “with the boys”, but also being a teenager in a social media filled world and feeling alone.
Christian Kusabs and Lachlan Searles will be launching their EP at The Gov on January 23rd along with Signals, Wolf and Chain, The Gullies and Witch Hunt.
